Can I use your art on my blog?
Yes, I will allow this as long as you link back to my website or my deviantART account, send me a link to the EXACT location you wish to use my art, and of course do not claim my art as your own.
Can I upload your art to create myspace layouts?
I am sorry but when people do this art can get redistributed without proper credit going to the creator. I use a special software called Tineye that crawls the web for any images that belong to me, so I will be able to tell if you use my art anywhere else on the web.
If you would really like to use my art for a layout you can ask me.
Can I use art that you created for me?
Of course. If I gave it to you as a gift, trade, or commission you can use it however you like as long as credit is given to me.
Can I use your art as reference for practicing?
Sure go for it! Just remember that my art does containg errors (nobody is perfect) If you are trying to learn anatomy it is best to stick to photographs as reference.
Can I use your poses?
This is a tricky question. There are so many poses to choose from but a certain point is reached when people start drawing poses that have been drawn before but they don't even know it. Here is my answer: You can use my poses for reference but I will trust you to give me credit if the pose is obviously referenced.
Can I trace your art?
This is such a silly question. No! Of course not. I really doubt that tracing will help your artistic ability in any way. Instead be creative!
Can I post your art on my personal website?
Yes as long as credit is given to me and you link back to my site (http://artbykaty.com)
